I just love Petey's and come here every trip to New England. I was raised not far from here and love my fried clams. Chowder is also great and along with every type of Lobster combo. Really fun service (as the photo bomb shows) and a nice beach right across the street. Plenty of parking in the lot and street. A can't miss.

Great no-nonsense seafood joint. I got a fried haddock sandwich that was delicious -- nice light but crispy batter, no fishiness at all. Fries and cole slaw were a nice addition. There's a lot of seating (we sat upstairs), but parking can be challenging. The main lot is fairly small and cramped. A lot of people seem to park on the street, but watch out for any No Parking signs (especially in front of nearby residences).

I stopped by on a September Saturday around noon and there were loads of seats available upstairs at the bar. Service was nice and quick, and food came out in 15-20 min. I ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp, which was well dressed and seasoned, and the small fried whole belly clams, which were fine. It was a good meal, but not quite $50 lunch good (before tip). They have a small parking lot in front, but otherwise you'll need to scope out a spot on route 1A. But be wary of "no parking" areas!

Found this great during a coastal drive. So happy we stopped in for a bite and a cold one! The place was jumping, service was friendly, food was delicious and the bill was reasonable. Cant wait to return!

The service was excellent, we sat on the top patio to get a good view of the water. I hadn't had fried oysters before, they were delicious! Have to eat the hot though. This was my first lobster roll I didn't know they were served cold. I also didn't ask Lol! But it was tasty my friend really enjoyed it "flavor profile was on point extremely meaty" they quoted.

We love Petey's. My brother and I come from Texas and California to visit our uncle who lives in New Castle. Our first night here always involves a trip to our favorite New England restaurant. The service is always amazing and we love the decor inside. Now let's talk about their seafood. Some of the best in the area. They don't scrimp on the portion sizes either. Tonight we split the fried combo platter. Two grown men still couldn't finish the whole plate. This will always be a tradition and bring back great memories of our past times here.

We had a nice time here. My daughter and I opted to sit upstairs and it was beautiful. Our waitress was quiet, but very pleasant, and the food was quite good. We both ordered clam strips, which were done perfectly, came out quickly, and tasted delicious. The coleslaw is definitely quite creamy, but the flavor was really nice. The fries were good, too. They were thicker than I normally like but they didn't taste dried out or mushy. I loved the tartar here. It was alot like the kraft type. We did order drinks which were probably the biggest disappointment. My daughter got the pirate one and I ordered the watermelon basil. They were good, not great, and from the size would have thought them to be much bigger. I'd spend maybe 8 dollars at most if I'd known, not 15. We finished with dessert which was obviously frozen yet quite good. I had the lemon cake and she had the key lime. Our bill was just under 100 dollars. I'd come again but next time skip the drinks and desserts. For a mom and daughter day out, though, it was a fun splurge.

Great staff, fresh food, awesome bartender, Shana! They have a variety on the menu, so there is something good for everyone. The place is always busy and that's just another reason to know it has great food. Parking can be full in the lot, so we park along Rte. But if you wait a bit, a space will open up. It's really clean and comfortable, which says a lot for a seafood place. You never want to smell seafood or any fishy smell, and that isn't the case here. Customers are happy in the dining area or at the bar, which creates an inviting environment.

So the food was so divine that we ate it before receipt take photos. He had Lobster Pie & I had broiled haddock & sea scallops. Truth be told, I'm not a shellfish gal....but had bites of the lobster (so fresh, so good!) and a couple scallops (yum!) ...we both had a baked potato & coleslaw. Creamy & delish. Our server, Reggie, was awesome!! Super funny, had some recommendations and was attentive. We will definitely be back. PS - get the clam chowder!
